E.ON France, headquartered in Paris (5, rue d'Athènes, 9th district) is the new subsidiary of the E.ON Group and home to all business activities in France.
As a subsidiary of the E.ON Group, E.ON France brings the activities of E.ON Énergie, of Snet, and of E.ON Énergies Renouvelables under one umbrella in Northwest Europe's second biggest energy market. The business activity focuses on the sale of electricity and natural gas to industrial corporate customers.
E.ON took over all the shares in the power producer Snet in January 2010. Thus making it number three in electricity generation in France. The takeover will promote the growing together of the French and German power markets and sets new impulses for a common European market.
Out of this strong position, E.ON will continue to grow in this attractive environment. Therefore, the company will rely on the many years of experience and the wide knowledge of its own employees.
In 2009, the E.ON Group’s turnover amounted up to nearly 81.817 billion Euro in over 30 countries. Today, more than 50 percent of the 88,227 employees are already working in other countries than Germany.
