The Center for Optimization, Dispatching and Production Adjustment (CODAP) is located in the Europort area in Saint-Avold, Lorraine and attached to Energy Interface Management Department of E.ON in France.

Its mission is to manage the balance perimeter, i.e. ensure real-time balance between resources (production groups and purchasing energy) and customer consumption.

CODAP is in regular contact with RTE (Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité), which provides market forecasts and energy adjustments. As the main contact of power plants, CODAP determines the daily production of units and a team of dispatchers in charge of programming and monitoring in real-time, 24 hours per day. The technical management team is responsible for proper tracking and reporting activity.

CODAP has high performance computing tools like Visioprod, a software for tracking real-time programming and production of units, and Optiprod which ensures program optimization by integrating data intraday.
